This is the face I make whenever someone says they never, ever wear coral lipstick.

SERIOUSLY, NOT LOVING CORAL IS A THING? 

Coral lipstick is one of my favorite things to wear -- pretty much any time, but especially in spring and summer.

It’s just so chipper and cheerful! Plus, in the warmer months (when my skin picks up a little more color), coral goes great with a tan.

If you’re new to coral lips, try MAC Cremesheen in Crosswires. It’s adorable. It's a medium-coverage pinkish orange coral with a slightly shiny finish (but not too shiny), and you can wear it with pretty much any peach or warm pink blush in your collection.

I'm wearing Crosswires at the top with Melba, one of my MAC all-time favorite blushes. Together, they're one of those no-brainer combos I always come back to when I bust out the shorts and sandals.
